When you post your artwork please describe it for us as to type (medium) Pen&Ink, pastels, oil, in other words tell us all about it. The more you tell us about the art and the artist the better we will be able to put it into a catagory for the contest.

Wow...this is a great idea..my Baby is a wonderful artist! He has sent me beautyful drawings! AHH I will ask him permission to scan the drawings for the contest this week when he calls me! & if he agrees i will defenetly post them for you to see...

I got a few questions.. how do you post the larger images?
Do you have a special code..or img<htt.) formatt to post these?

I have a program on my computer that will help make the image smaller, Poncho's love, I can help you with that.

These are done by Daniel in Michigan. I don't know how much info you want on these or even if I'm suppose to post them here or send them directly to you.

All his art is done in pen and colored pencils.

Smallville is was done in colored pencil and pencil. It was sent to me as a card.

Clowns was done all in pencil he was in a new prison and they did not allow pens or colored pencils.

Viking was done in pen and colored pencil. Daniel says he wants this as a tattoo when he gets out.

Rose was done with colored pencils.

Daniel works mostly with colored pencils when he can get them. He hopes to start a tattoo shop or sell his wears when he is released in 2006.

My husband had another guy make two beautiful cards for me I would love to post them but will get permission and the artist's name first.

Richard is in SHU in CA.......he is looking to be transferred soon.

All his art is done with pen and (he has told me how he does this and maybe someone who is an artist will understand the technique better than me and be able to explain it better..........but here goes my try) scraps colors from magazines to make the colors on the cards. he then glues the peices to the cards to make the colors.......no two art peices even if drawn the same will have the same 'exact' coloring..........

he makes note cards and he will personalize them and put sheets of paper into the inside of the card so you can write a letter.....he started this art work when he first got to SHU (and in my opinion has perfected it) to keep from going crazy.

My one pal takes a q-tip to the newspaper and takes color from there to do his art work, the one envelope he sent me, was simply amazing, just thinking it came from a newspaper, the colors.

My Kenny is an extremely talented artist and works in several different mediums. He has won several contests, been commissioned by a local army base here to do a painting, and even sold one of his paintings to one of the band members from the old country group "Alabama." my son is a great artistist, he air brushes,draws with pens and pencils and makes these eggs that have drawings on them. so if I want to display them I have to do just one at a time or do I do a group thing? I really want to show off his work as he is really good. He makes so many great things. please let me know how I go about showing several things that he has done? Awww, thank you. I will have to get the details on whether these are oils, which I'm almost positive they are, but he also works in acrylics and pastels. I have lots more I can post,but don't want to take up the whole forum:p

Most of Brents work here is air brushed, the cantina women is done in pen, the red cardnals are made out of this stuff I call plaster of paris stuff and than he paints on them same with the plaque of the usa Navy. He started out drawing on cloth and than went to poster board. The egg is also made out of that plaster of paris stuff and than drawn free handed and painted. He does mostley indian work as he is really into the culture. He also does some awsome tatoo's. This is what he does with all the money I send him , he buys materials to do his art work. That is also a picture of him that he had done when he dontated that spiderman head egg to the special olympics. And the picture behind him he sent to my granddaughters.
He will be out in 2007 for sure and we have a studio all set up for him as I beleive he will be able to sell his art work very easy. I am so proud of his talent as I believe it's a gift! He has been drawing since he was a very young boy! Thank you for letting me display his work and a special thanks to Blue eyeso1 for all that she did for me and Brent. Woo Hoo I think I finally figured out how to post his artwork!!
My friend drew this parrot for me. it is 15 x 30 done in coloured pencils and felt tip pen. he used cardboard fr the "frame and drew lines on it and then used shoe polish to give it a wood look.

I would like to post some cards my friend drew for me but I have no idea how. Can someone please help me with this. :(

if you have a good camera you can take a pick of them, i have done that before. i have a really good digital camera and can get copies of other pics, drawings etc with it. its worth a go if you have one

carcellous king is an aspiring artist tattoo artist father and wonderful (tho not always- cos hes "in" !:mad:) fiance who is in ocj in florida waiting to be sentenced in 13 days to a prison -hopefully not too far away -I live in destin he draws and has for many years mostly with graphite and ink and mostly japananime / manga style he can draw just about anyone or anything in this style and sometimes gets "commissioned" in exchange for "store call" He has a myspace and a facebook also under his name and blue twin (surprise!- he's a twin:D) Below are some examples of his work thank you for this website and for supporting and trying to help an often very misunderstood or "hated" group of people

This is my daughters dad, John's, artwork that he drew for me last year while we were together. Its not all of the work hes done but its some.:thumbsup:Everything is done in ink pen since thats all he was allowed.I know he got the idea for the precious moments drawing from a card he sent me for valentines day while i was in the hospital. However, the poetry, to my knowledge, is orginal.
