I asked my friend who has a friend there and this is what she said...

I'm not sure about the book thing but i'm pretty sure everything has to
be ordered from the company or atleast factory sealed, i sent some
shoes before but i got foot locker to seal them and tape them up or something...the book thing i dont know
visitation is thurs-sun, thu & fri 6:30-9:30...sat & sun 8:30-11:30,
12:30-3:30 and 6:30-9:30 ...visits are 1 hour unless they are on the
fourth level but you can go multiple times during the day
you have to be on a visiting list and they can only submit them every
so often, when visiting she has to make sure she wears sleeves and has a
shirt that tucks in or she can pull down...they got a lot stricter and
i was sent back to the car several times for having a shirt with my
stomach poking out..they tell me pull your shirt down or put on a
coat...and you can't wear jackets in the visiting room soooo basically,
you will be screwed if you wear a tank or a fitted shirt ( i know it's
cold now so it doesn't matter...but), they've never said anything about
my jeans or anything...i wouldn't do sweats either...and no hats...the
usual
money is sent regular ... i think you can even send personal checks
