Got a letter from Amir yesterday. He said they are talking about moving him again. He has been in this facility less than six months. He was at the last one about 8 or 9 months. I am glad he is getting out. He has had problems since there. But, these transfers are so stressful. I have no idea where they are thinking of sending him this time. I pray it is closer to his mother. I also do not know if maybe he will get to go to a med. security prison. I have said before he has enough points for med security but the keep sending him to max. He is only two points about a minimum. :(

I will keep you guys updated on how this all plays out.

Will keep fingers crossed for some good news here, Fly. Even tho I know it must be stressful and aggravating, if this current place hasn't been so great maybe the next one will be better... will hope!! Hang in there lady, I know it's stressful and frustrating for you too...

Thanks Lys, I heard from him again. He said he is asking to come closer to me. I would love this but truthfully would rather him be closer to his mother. She is getting older and she needs to be able to see him more often. I need to see him too, but differently.

He never use to have any trouble. All his counselors would tell me that he was not a problem. The one from Beaumont told me that he couldnt understand why they kept him in a max instead of letting him go to a med. The troubles all began when he requested to be transfered to a med facility in oregon and they sent him to Atwater. Some guards there took an unliking for him and started giving him grief. Those same guards followed him to Lee Co after he got his transfer out of there.

I just dont know what to think anymore. I wish he would get settled in and things could go back to the way it was before.

Yeah, that is the reason he is getting transfered again so soon. They were named in all the letters we wrote to the bop and our congressional leaders. You'd think that the bop would not have let it happen again.

Yeah, you'd think, but that would make SENSE... a little known word in the prison system... ;)
