hi everybody my husband is in North Kern State Prison but he will be tranfer to Avenal state prison. Can't anyone tell me how it works there thank you

Might I suggest you read the above thread..."All things Avenal". What specifically do you want to know?? It is a mess there right now.

Yeah, I pm'ed her already. She will have the basic visit and package questions etc. So, what is up with 320 anyway? They got 7 new inmates in there on Friday and BAM! Chicken Pox again? All I can say is ..."Awwww Crap!" This means the 3 Yard kitchen crew gets forced overtime for another month.....Meaning, they are shorthanded and all have to work at least 6 days per week. My son doesn't mind and is working 7 days a week, but, his ass is draggin as he says.

That is something that I would suggest you calling the visiting Lt. office and asking. I do know all appointments are already filled, but you could always get a number and go in on open visiting. Do you have the numbers for the prison?
