Prison Art/contest
This is just an idea I am throwing out to everyone, would you like to have a contest? We can all post art from our loved ones and let the members vote for what they like best. If this is something that is of interest to you please post and let us know what you think. If we decide on doing this we will figure out a prize system. Love Barb

I think it is a great idea!

BUT art is subjective. What is beautiful to one person may not be beautiful to the next. So how would things be judged? I mean, you can't compair Michelangelo to Picasso and decide which one is better...Point being, art is very different to everyone ... Just a thought.

But I do like the idea, so maybe if there were different categories to judge like art, that would work better?

Also, the artists are allowed different materials in different prisons so that might effect it all too

Sounds like a great idea, I personally don't know anyone who is artistic, but I would vote for others who are.

What a wonderful idea!!!!!!! I think their are many talented inmates and I would love to see some art work!!!!! If anyone is not sure how to post a picture , I will gladly help you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( if this gets off the ground)

I would love to see that. There are so many talented people in prison that just need a place to showcase their talent. i know my husband's cellie is so talented but lacks the confidence to do anything with it.

I think thats a great idea. I have a few great works from close friends that I would be proud to put up!

An art contest would be great... I actually have a couple of pen pals who would love to participate in something like this.
