Hi, I am new to this whole prison thing. I have never been separated from someone because of prison, or jail. It has been very scary for me and I just don't how to handle it. My husband was violated on probation for stupid stuff, stuff that if he wasn't on probation nothing ever would have come of it. He doesn't use drugs and he doesn't drink, but he puts others before himself and that is what got him in trouble. He is at (Winslow-Coronado Unit.) If anyone might have any advice on how to cope with this type of separation it would be greatly appreciated

There is so much support and information here. It has really helped me these past 3 months. Your husband sounds like my husband. We have to be strong and have faith.

Just keep the letters flying between you and keep him grounded to the outside. Photo's and encouragement help a lot and dicourage him from indulging in tattoo's while he is there.

Hi and welcome. You've come to the right place for support. There are many wonderful people here.
I would recommend visiting and him calling whenever he can. Then write as much as possible. Send pictures, positive quotes, etc.. It is very hard, I know. We are all hee for each other. Come here as often as you would like.
