I've been all over this site looking for some sort of info. My man was just moved from county jail to reception in North Kern County State Prison Delano. I was trying to find the number to call so that I could get his info and where to send his letters. Also, I want to know if the CDC number is different from his booking number and if so, how do I get the number? Please tell me I don't have to wait for a letter.
I just need as much info as possible.:o

Hi my man use to be at north kern now he is at CCC susanville. I have a number where you can call and get his the mailing address. They will let you know if he is at north Kern state prison or northe kern state prison two. They are right next to each other but different address. Here is the number and good luck.

My ex-husband just went there on the 9th Dec. The booking number is different than the CDC number. When you call9164456713, ask for records and they will give you his CDC number and mailing address.

I need some clarification. I called the records department at North Kern State Prison and they gave me my ex-husbands release date. They said his "minimum" time was Apr 2007 and his "maximum" time was Jul 2008. What does that exactly mean? Please help.

wait... they gave u his release times? I thought that only the inmate could tell u. hmmmm, well The minimum time is the earlies he will get out which is april 2007, and his full sentace would be the maximum time, July 2008. which would be his full term.

Yes they gave me release times. I actually received that info from someone else. They told me to call and ask for records and they will be able to give me his release date. They also gave me his CDC number. I knew where he was transferred from looking his county info up on the Los Angeles website. I am military and have about 9mths left in California and for some reason he was keeping it a secret from me how much time he had. So now I know. We have a 3yr old son together and I wanted to know if he would be out before we leave..

If you call Delano they to will give you the inmates mailing address and CDC # or at least they use to.

you spoke with records at NKSP? Maybe I spoke with a mean person, but they did not offer me that info at all! Did u speak with an attendant or his counselor?

I never had a problem getting my fiance's housing # while he was at NKSP (reception). I think you've been given the WRONG phone number for NKSP. Their number is (661) 721-2345!! Press 1 for 'INMATE SERVICE' and then select 'RECORDS'. They will give you his housing unit #, just give them his CDC#. The other tel. #'s was for INMATE LOCATION. THey just give you his institution & it's physical address. You have to call the prison itself to find out his housing. Call (661) 721-2345 between 8:00am - 2:00pm (Cali time!) They'll give you the info you're looking for.
