Hello how is everyone doing? I have a quick question but first off let me just say that my man was in the ICC federal bootcamp at Lewisburg, PA and he was released from there in March of this year. Since then he has been residing at a Federal Halfway House in New Jersey (Kintock Group) and this week he will be going on home confinement but that is only going to last until Jan 27. After the 27th he will be released. My question was when he is released from home confinement and then put on supervised release, do the people at the halfway house run a check on his license or dmv records before releasing him?? I was wondering this because one day I picked him up to bring him to work and he ended up driving my car and got a ticket for careless driving. Since he couldn't go to court to fight it, he just paid it and received the 2 points. My question is will the halfway house know about this later on. As far as I've heard they don't run checks while they are in there, but I was wondering if they run it before they release him because that could cause a problem. Does anyone know about this or have someone who was recently released from a halfway house?? I would really appreciate it if someone could help me. Thanks alot....
And to everyone who has someone in the system, keep ya head up and pray because that's what I did, and things got better as time went by...Never lose faith...
God Bless...

Sorry, I can't answer your question. My guy is also in a federal halfway house, and they checked his license and insurance and all that when I dropped his truck off to him. He's allowed to have it there and drive to work (and on weekend passes home to ME!). I would think that the halfway house may not check, but that the future PO might.
