My brother just got sent to Administrative Segregation at Centinela and now he is in C-6. I have not heard from him and now I have to make a appointment to see him 7-days in advance? I am not sure what this is or means so if anyone has any info please share!

Hey... well this means he is in the hole. He is solo right now. So make sure you send him alot of letters. Funny jokes, cards and so forth. I don't know if he can have pics in ad seg so, try any ways. But as far as your visit. Make the appointment and show up early. I would say at least 30-40 minutes in case there are others waiting to get there appointment. When you arrive in the visiting room do not wait in line. Go straight to the desk and let them know you have an appointment and that you are there(you might have to wait by the wheelchairs but sit tight they will get to you when they are done with the current goings on.). They will either take you quickly or tell you to have a seat, then listen out for the appointment time. Your visit should be an hour and they do have priorty because they are appointments. So good luck. Did he give you a number? I have the number but not the extention. ...... Okay I called "Sleepy and Happy" and she gave me the counsler extension. 760-337-7900x6307. Ask for his counsler and ask him/her for the appointment extension and they might give you some info. Good Luck Hope it helps. Soneat

Will an inmate in the hole be able to send letters OUT. Will I have to send writing pads, etc. or will he be able to take what he had when he was in general populatiion? Havent heard from him in about 2 weeks. Thanks for any info you can give me.

Actually my brother is not alone and he actually has a Cell Mate in AD SEG. He has the same Cell Mate as before he got put in there. They got in trouble together and they still kept them together. He sends mail all of the time and he can still recieve paper, stamps and envelopes. He can still recieve books (paper back) and photos. When they go to Store they can spend up to $40 dollars each month. He goes on Yard (3) times a week (he is in a cage) and they work out. They also take a Shower (3) times a week and Thursday is what they call a Dead Day. They do nothing on Thursdays. Of course no phone, TV or Radio but I print out Lyrrics of Songs for him and send him plenty of Stories and Funny Jokes from the Internet. He also gets the Newspaper (Daily Breeze) from the South Bay (our home town area).

Hello, When your man is in the hole, I know you have to make appointments to visit but can you visit on Saturdays and Sundays or just one or the other. Thanks.

Unfortunately you can only Visit One or the Other so when you call they will ask you what day you want.

I had my first ad. seg. visit yesterday and it went pretty smooth. Even though it's only an hour I'm planning on going again soon. :D
