I was wondering if anyone knew the status of the early release program at Davis CF. I know Shahan was telling me he is now eligible for it, but that they stopped doing it right before he got to apply. He had heard that they were going to start it up again, and I am afraid that I am getting my hopes up only to be shot down. I'm not even sure how it works or what it entails. If anyone knows, I'd sure appreciate the info.

Thanks a bunch!

I KNOW JULY 1ST GOVENER HENERY IS RELEASING 1500 1ST TIME DRUG OFFENDERS.(WITH NO MAJOR RIGHT UPS) ITS GOING TO BE THE ONES THAT HAVE BEEN IN THE LONGEST. BESIDES THAT I DONT KNOW I HEARD ABOUT THAT BECAUSE I HAVE A FRIEND IN GRANET.(OK STATE REFORM) IT ALSO DEPENDS IF THEY ARE IN FOR A VIOLENT CRIME, DO THEY STILL HAVE TO DO 85%? HAVE A GREAT DAY AND GETTING YOUR HOPES UP IS OK BECAUSE ALL WE HAVE IS LETTERS, PHONE CALLS, AND HOPE!

Jennifer I am curious as to where you heard that. I know there was a bill in the house to release some no violent offenders early on electronic monortioring but unfortunately that bill did not pass it was killed on the house floor May 30th in a vote of 47-49. I have the article on this legisilation if you would like to see it,If you have info to the contrary about the 1500 please let me know as it would most likey affect me and my hunny! And i would be very much grateful!
