Hey...all..don't know where to start...my almost 15-yr. daughter is getting into serious trouble...(ever since Dad been away since Oct...2002)...with school...drugs...this weekend marks her 5th runaway...noONE...seems to want to help (LAW OR DHS..MY FAULT.....!!!)or few even care....except OF COURSE..IT'S MY FAULT...HELPPP? EXPERIENCE???...IDEAS????

THis is one area I have some expertise! LOL!!! I have been dealing with this for a long time. Have you tried a becca? Its an at risk youth petittion. It will order her home, stay in school, attend counseling, follow rules, curfew etc. It was created after a girl kept running away and no one would do anything to help the parents. She died as a result. Anyways check into it. As long as she isnt under any other court,(meaning she isnt allready on probation) you should have it granted.

i spent half my life working with my own child, now a man in prison. there are no words to offer that will "fix" her but a highering of self-esteem goes a long way. it you can find that key...it's there, hidden amoung all the pain she's going through. acting out is a call for help. now, as parents we aren't the kind of help they need and it sure is tricky finding what they do need. i have found that earning money is a good way to start, could she find a part time job? where's she going and what does she do when she run's? the internet has a wealth of info. i can tell you that if you don't use your head you will loose this little war. keep posting and letting us know. i care what happens to her. our childern are our only hope.....
