Hiya.

I've been approved for visiting and looking for any information on USP lewisburg. I havent received any information from the BOP yet but my guy tells me that I've been placed on his visiting list.

My question is: Does the BOP send you information concerning rules and regulations along with visiting times etc.?

I've found the link for the general rules but they are not prison specific.

If anyone has information on Lewisburg specifically I'd be grateful :)

I apologize, I have never visited at lewisburrg. But, it is your friends responsibility to tell you the rules. The bop will not send anything. You can call lewisburg to ask what the times and days are though. You might also ask them a little about the dress code. I have visited at 4 different federal prisons. If you ahve an non lewisburg specific questions, you can ask her or pm me. Good luck!

WHAT I KNOW OF FEDERAL PRISONS IS THE PERSON THAT IS THERE SHOULD TELL YOU WHAT DAYS YOU CAN VIST, AND WHAT TIMES, YOU HAVE TO BRING I,D, AND MONEY IN A PLASTIC BAG SO THE GUARDS CAN SEE IT,, NOTHING ELSE, SO ASK THE PERSON THAT IS THERE AND THEY WILL TELL YOU WHAT EVER ELSE YOU NEED TO KNOW GOODLUCK

I would call the institution to find out the rules. My guy is pretty timid and told me he doesn't like to talk to the COs because they can be pretty nasty and don't always want to answer questions. I call and get the info myself and then tell him.
