I see a lot of posts here about what its like to visit regular DR inmates at San Quentin but I was wondering what its like to visit an AC inmate. I mean what do I have to do? Are the days still the same Thurs- Sun? How many a week can they get? How long are they? What do they consist of? Where are they? Stuff like that. I have a friend there who I wanted to go see but I would like a little more info before I go. I know how to get there and where to park and the lockers, I have visited my cousin on H Unit before but DR, just the name is kind of scary for me. I know that I shouldn't trip but it just kind of makes me nervous thinking about going up there. Thanks ladies for the help!

when i visited my friend on the row at San Quentin, all the prison staff were so helpful and very undersatanding, in the visiting room eveeryone visitors and inmates could all mingle and chat to each other, you could walk around the visiting room with your pal, go to the microwave and vending machines with them, even hug if you wanted to. hope it helps

My friend is in the A/C so I think his visits are the ones behind glass and they are only for an hour. I was kind of wondering if they were in a different room the ther regular DR visits or were they like in a corner. I was also curious about the regular "cage" visits. Thank you though. I appreciate the help.
