Does anyone know if HR 4036 (federal parole) or HR 4752 (LERA) have been passed yet? I was doing some google searching but I can't find anything. Any help or knowledge would be appreciated! Thank you.

last I heard it went to a sub-commitee you can go to Fed-cure.org they have up to date info as well as links to the different Bills and there transitions

The FedCURE site is http://www.fedcure.org/. They and other organizations met with congressional staffers on 10/28/05 and in an email to FedCURE members expressed a lot enthusiam over the success of the meeting. There's a long way to go with this bill but the web site will keep you up to date.

im checking this out too because of of our own PTO family members has asked me to look into it for him anyone remember jjtweeks. this is the petition for LERA http://www.petitiononline.com/LERA/petition.html im going to sign it now im #6646 from what ive managed to find they will need alot more signatures.

I do a lot of searching and I don't know if anyone has gone here yet but I monitor many things on www.GovTrack.us.

I believe the bill you are referring to is HR 3072... The bill to reinstitute Federal Parole. If so, I have nothing on this of late and would have to believe that once again the bill is dead in the water or at the very least still sitting on some Congressman's desk. Sorry.
