I hear that Covington County is even harder! When my son was in...he got out a couple of weeks ago....he needed a PSI report, too. They could not assign him to a less secure facility without one. Did your son have one done before his sentencing hearing? If he did...you should be able to request a copy to be sent to Central Records and his classification officer at Ventress. It might help if he requested it himself. If he didn't have one done....then have him request from the probation/parole office for one to be completed.
