I Just Wanted Some Feedback From Some Womens On Here Who Are Dealing With Different Issues Pertaining To Race And Ethinicy What Does It Mean To You Personally?

well some ppl are races and others can look at them and they cant tell...
but still a person in that situation could not ignore the problems that still goes on today in this world....

i for myself...i cant hate anyone of anyrace...

Well, my mom is Asian and my dad is white. When I lived in Thailand people call me "white girl" but never got discriminated against but got some bonus like not getting carded at clubs. Now I live in LA and people think I'm Mexican and they speak to me in Spanish which I really don't understand. Then they give me a dirty look thinking I'm snooty acting like I don't speak the language. That's funny though. My ex and my current boyfriend are both Mexican. I grew up around kids who are "mixed" so when people make a big deal out of it I don't understand why. My man is the only one in his yard who can write "I love you" in Thai:D . I have two sons with the ex and I teach them to embrace all 3 cultures coz that's what make them special.

i am a mutt i am white rcian asain native amrican italian and blk i got to know about all my heritages except for asain my grandma which was like life line was blk and rican she made me feel like i was accpeted event hough i dont look li ei m mixed with blk even when people in the neighborhood wouldnt saying things like you light skined pretty girl u think your better than us and i never understood that cause i wish i would of been darker to be able to fit in. i went to my tribe alot and learned their ways of life i would go bearound my italian relitaves and be accpeted but in society i will never be accepted into one race or heritages because i am very open about my mixture and i am proud of it.
