DENIED FEDERAL AID FOR SCHOOL BECAUSE OF A DRUG CONVICTION?

Have you or someone you know been affected by the federal ban on financial aid for persons with drug convictions? Want to do something about it?

The ACLU, in collaboration with the Coalition for Higher
Education Act Reform (CHEAR) and Students for Sensible Drug Policy (SSDP), is seeking persons affected by the HEA drug provision to file a lawsuit claiming that the ban is unconstitutional.

If you have been denied federal aid for school because of a drug conviction, please contact heareform@raiseyourvoice.com or call the ACLU toll-free at 1-866-4-HEA-Fix. Tell the ACLU how the drug provision has affected your life.

For more information about the campaign to repeal the federal ban please visit www.RaiseYourVoice.com.
