I will be visiting my man tomorrow for the first time at Camden WR. I'm unsure about the dress code, but he use to be at VCF, so i'll just dress the same as i did for that. But i was wondering about how much money (change) i could bring in. Oh and ?'s about the items i will be bringing him too!! Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Well, the one person I know of who used to have someone at Camden probably won't check in before tomorrow, but I did find something she posted about how visitation was there:

As you can see not much about clothes or money... I know the WR's tend to be a little more relaxed, but just in case, for this visit anyway probably best to dress as you normally did before visiting him... and to be on the safe side I'd just take $30 in change in, since that's the standard most places. When you arrive maybe you can get them to give you a copy of the visiting rules so you'll know where everything stands there next time! Enjoy your visit!

The visitation officers there are good people. The dress code was the same as any other prison. Things have probably changed alot since my son was there. The warden of Camden went to Easterling to join up with the woman everyone dislikes I would bet Easterling is a mess now. I hope my son never goes back to this camp to be honest with you. We had alot of problems there with a couple of CO's and had words with the Warden as well. They have a high return rate back to medium custody from that camp. So I hope your loved stays on guard while being there. Other than that you will enjoy visitation because it is so relaxed.
