I need directions and rules and regulations for the Middleton unit in Abeliene,Tx.I am also lookin for a printable parole packet,any info is aprreciated.

with lots of info on it. The unit is about 8 miles out of Abilene, you can put it into google or yahoo map search for directions. As I'm sure you know, its a transfer unit, so rules are slightly different to the ID ones ~ have a look through the thread and if it still doesnt answer you questions, let us know on there. Jeanne is visiting this weekend, so i'm sure she'll come back with lots more up to date info for us all :)

When you get to a thread you want to keep an eye on, just save it to your favourites on your computer. We keep the Middleton one at the top of the page though, so you wont lose it :) Dont worry, we were all new to this once, you'll be a pro in no time!

call the tdc # 936-295-6371 u have to know his bday and give them his whole name well at least first and last thats it

yes I can help you on this. When my son was moved to Middleton from Potter County I called this number. It is an automated number. If you call between 8 and 5 mon - fri you can get someone on the line and tell them his county number and dob and they will give you the information that you need. 24 hrs or less after my son left I got this information. The address to the Middleton Unit is 13055 FM 3522

my husband was just xferred to Middleton Unit. I live in houston, does anybody have directions? mapquest cant locate it. What are the rules for visitation? they said i have to wait 3-4 weeks, is that true? what does it mean by Transfer Facility?

transfer unit means, he's just passing thru b4 they put him in his stationary spot
directions are pretty simple...go 45 north to I20-West...tke Exit #288 pass up jack in the box, residence hotel & mkt rght at the red light(walmart, Chilis, dairy queen will be on ur left once u turn). you will drive about a miles & see a sign that says middleton & Robertson unit mke lft....go dwn the road about a mile & mke a left on fm 3822...drive dwn about a mile and middleton will be on ur rght...this way tkes 6 and 1/2 hrs....the other way I knw I was taught by this lady I use 2 ride w/and I really cant explain, but the name of that freeway is I36...it takes 5 and 1/2 going and 5 coming bck....
