It was nice. the guards were all nice. They dont make you feel like you're a looser there to see your looser.:rolleyes:
There wasn't a wait due to the yard being so small. I had to go in where everyone else (level 4 visitors) went in at first. They didnt have a big wait either.
They did have to take me in a van to his yard. But it was fast. -and this is coming from a very impatient -person.:thumbsup:
I wasn't kicked out due to overcrowding, they let us hug and hug and kiss.:drool: We didn't go overboard, but it was our first contact visit since his arrest in March.
I've been told they're strict on dress code... It seemed pretty relaxed to me. As long as you weren't wearing denim or dressed too uniform like a guard, it was chill.
Just wanted to put that out there since there isn't much on KVSP yet.

plpiper- Your visiting is encouraging to those of us who just had men transferred there. Each prison is different. How long has your man been there? Is it true that you have to make an appointment until you man has been there 6 weeks? What yard is your man on and do you know what the various yards are?

If you're already approved for visiting they'll tell you whatever you want to know. If not, it might be tough. My husband was there for 2 to 3 weeks and I had a contact visit with him- for like 5 hours. He and I didn't have to do that make an app. or behind glass thing. So I dont know. But remember it's a level 4 prison, accept that little level 1 yard-they're there to help maitanence the prison.
