I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the New Lisbon prison that is supposed to have opened this month. I also was wondering if anyone had heard if they were sending out of state prisoners back to Wisconsin. I have heard a million things..and im trying to get to the facts...this is a medium security prison...thanks for any information..mel

Hi Mel.... I had heard they were sending the last batches in out of state prisons back to Wisconsin. McCallum had put into legislation that by the end of 2003 ALL out of state ones would be sent back to Wisconsin. A friend of my honey's has been in Oklahoma for 6 years and just got sent back to Wisconsin in May. Hope this helps!!! Karen

karen...yes thank you so much...i havent been in Wisconsin for the lasy 9 months...so i dont know what is going on..i just moved back here..and keep on hoping he will be here soon...i heard by the end of june all the guys in oklahoma would be back...but you know how WDOC works...but thanks for the information..mel
