I am new to Prison talk I'm searching for answers on how to maybe get my son out a little early due to my health. My son has been incarcerated since 11/31/2000 and I have had Aids since 1995, Does anyone know who I need to contact on maybe getting him home on a pass for Christmas, I think this will be my last Christmas and I want to be with my son although he is not suppose to get out until some time next year . any info. would be greatly appreciated..

first of all let me welcome you to PTO, you've found a great place for support and understanding.

The first step you should take is with the chaplin at the facility that your son is at.

I don't know a thing about how they handle this type of thing. I will do some reseacher over the weekend and see what i can find out

but it seems to be that there are some type of emergency pass thing that inmates are sometimes given...i'll look into in and get back to you...
