Can anyone talk to me about visitation at Bryan? How long? How often? Which day? etc.

Call the prison and ask for the specifics on visitation. We travelled 12 hours one way and I wasn't about to take chances. they had had visitation shortened from 4 to 2 hours and I wrote the warden in advance and asked for a 4 hour visit, and got that in writing. How can you plan if you don't know?

Currently visitation at FPC Bryan is Sat/Sun and Federal holidays.

SAT .................. 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

SUN ................. 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

HOLIDAYS ...... 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

OK, what do they do for special visitation? Boyfriend - active duty Army - will be flying down from Fort Wainwright, Alaska, for my birthday in OCT. Are there any special provisions or anything like visitation of week days or extended visiting hours for someone coming that far?

Incidentally, he is landing here in Central Texas in about 3 hours for five days of leave to spend with me. We might be tying the knot before he leaves. It has been hinted at that that might happen. :cool: Wish us luck!

They dont give any special visitation. They are sticklers about sticking to the specified days. Special request are granted for above the 5 adult requirements if visitors travel a great distance.

He also must be on the visitation list..if he is not they will not let him in
