I was just asked a question about name tags at the conferance. I have never been to a PTO conferance so I dont know for sure the answer. The question is "will everyone have name tags"? If is my guess that they will at least on the first day, but I thought I would double check.

Just wanting to know. I know there has to be at least 100 going! Right?!?

My travel plans are made, hotel reservations/deposit sent it and I'm getting excited!!!!!

I've got my vacation funds ready, am contemplating what I'm wearing and I have made sure I've got LOTS of suntan lotion!!! My daughter has also made her plans for her cats while I'm gone!

I am in the Atlanta/Augusta area and will be attending the conference. I am driving down and am willing to allow others who may not have the transportation to ride with me. If you are in the area or will be flying to the area and want to carpool then let me know ASAP. The conference is only 2 months away!

I am attending the conference but not staying at the hotel. I am 45 or so minutes away. Well,that is depending on the Interstate traffic and construction!!! But I will be there!!! :)

Current plan is arriving the 17th (am) and leaving the 23rd (pm) I'll most likely buy the tickets this week since prices don't seem to be changing much these days.

Anyone else staying longer and taking in some sights? I'll have a rental car.

I'm also coming on the 17th B-Ray and will be staying until the 24th, but I'm going to see my sisters for a couple of days after the conference.

Dang this "conference" info has gotten hard to keepup with in so many threads.

Since there seems to be a few of us staying over, hopefully we can get together and do something as a group!

You local folks might give us some ideas and we can kick them around at the conference.

B-ray. I agree there are 3 different threads running about this and they have begun to mesh and overlap but I think merging them would just make them more confusing at this point.
We'll be at the foot of downtown Disney...PLENTY for us to do :D

ok this is the situation..willsgirl and i had planned to share a non smoking room for the conference...i paid the first 1/2...she was gonna pay the 2nd half...she has cancelled...i need a room mate..anyone interested..you would be responisble for the 2nd 1/2 which is due some time in feb...i snore..but i don't stink...lol...any takers...first come .....

The current head count is almost 40 people... that should be a WONDERFUL group! :)

To the PTO conference 40 people doesnt seem to be alot for all the work thats been put into it

40 people is actually a decent number of people to turn out. However, many more originally said they were comming and did not come through :(. I expected this though as it tends to happen. This is an event that will happen annually if 40 people come or if 4 people come. This event not only gives us the opportunities to hear info. from some great and educated speakers but also gives us a chance to meet each other and spend some fun time with those that KNOW exactly what we're going through. We have 16 rooms booked at the hotel so far so if you think about it in those terms as well as a room filled with 40 people it's a nice size group. Those of you who are still thinking, please decide quickly as the finial payments have to be in by 2/10/04.

Last year we have about the same amount of people and it was great! We had just enough people to have great discussions and good times :)

There will be another conference next year, and I intend to be there as well, no matter where it will be held !!! We 've already talked about this with Joey, and next year I'll go to the conference THEN to Florida or vice versa !!
