We've been working on a g2g to visit the Old Eastern Penitenuary in Philly.
Here are the details we've decided on for anyone else interested in coming:

A date and time has been set for anyone that missed the posts. We are planning to tour the Old Eastern Penitenuary in Philly on September 26th at 3 p.m. egs (Elaine) has been gracious enough to not only allow us to meet at her place which is close to the prison but also host a bar-b-q for us. What I want to get in the post is a response from anyone that will definitely be coming and also a list from egs of what she would like people to bring to the bbq. (drinks, paper plates, food, sweets, etc..). Thanks for the input from everyone and I'm looking forward to a great time meeting all of you!!

If anyone from the Harrisburg/Camp Hill area is interested in going but needs a ride or would like to car pool, let me know.

I just wanted to thank everyone who came to the tour and the bbq. It was a success and everyone had a wonderful time. A special thanks to Elaine (egs) who opened her home up to us for the bbq and prepared the bbq on her own. I hope to get around to posting a picture or two soon, unless someone else from that day gets to it first. It was nice meeting everyone and I hope we can do something like this again in the future!!!

Thanks for getting this whole thing together. I had a really good time at the g2g. I hope we could do this again in the future, maybe we cans start earlier next time that way we can sit around and talk longer. Thank you Elaine a million for the great food and being a great hostess. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Peace....I, too, forward my thanks for a great gathering. Felt good being around women who understood what is like loving someone behind bars. The conversations were great as was the food. Yes...I want to thank Jenuwine for planning it!!! The tour was really really cool...I had a good time!! Also, egs, thanks a million for letting all come to your house and making all of that delicious food!!! You are a great cook...and it was great all the variety and time you put into it!!! I, would also like to meet with everyone again!!! I hope that next time we will have more time to talk with each other...and everyone can bring more pics!!! I am also sorry we (Danielle, her neighbor, and I) had to leave early...but it's a far drive to Sussex!!! I didn't get back to 11:15! Next time we have to make more time for talking!! Also...we should all bring something to eat...b/c I feel really bad for the fact that you (egs) had to buy it all!!!! Hugs:p
