well ladies...we're home. Morghann did great on the ride down there (it was only 1 1/2 hours) but they DID let us in using my student id  excellent. Oh my god girls...my man looks more gorgeous than EVER. He's lost some weight. It was our first contact visit since July of '04. The tears started right when he walked in the room. Morghann was a little shy at first (hasn't seen daddy really since she was 4 months old) but then warmed up to him. It was beautiful--i mean really beautiful. He cried twice. Once because he asked "how are you handling all this..." and my reply was "well..i have my days, but i've got Moe (meaning Morghann) and thats a little piece of you i get to have with me everyday." Then he cried when was talk about how when he was home I worked in Tahlequah and he took care of Morghann while i was at work and he said " I remember me and Morghann would be driving around in the chevy and she couldn't take her eyes off me, and the look in her eyes was like--yeah that's my daddy and i knew then that i was going to make a wonderful father!" he just layed his head in his hands and bawled. This was a really hard visit. but it was our first one where we got to having that little bit of intimacy between us. And we had our "family back. I miss him so much ladies. I cired the whole drive home. 25 years seems like such a long time. **sigh**

Taylor, I'm so happy for you because you've wanted and needed this visit so bad! It still amazes me how much love we can appreciate now in the smallest gestures and words. I think if you polled us, we'd almost all say we drove home crying from that first visit. Some of us probably still do...lol. But it will get a bit easier to handle when your visits become more regular. And I'm sure it helps that he's looking more gorgeous than ever

Hi.. I'm in Tulsa and have a son in the Lawton Correctional Facility. I am also new to this site. And learning how to work things. I have enjoyed reading alot of the post made on this site. I have even cried at times while reading what others are going thur with our loved ones. And cry when I read about someone coming home. Wishing it was my son. Maybe one day it will happen.

Anyways... I wanted to pop in and say HI to everyone and to tell all of you that I have enjoying this site.

Thank you very much,

Justntims mom

Mom, there are a lot of us Tulsa ladies here and even though our stories are all different, we all share the same fears and worries. I'm glad you found us and hope you'll stay around and post more. And even if you just mostly lurk around and read like I did in the beginning (lol), I hope you get support and strength from not being alone in this anymore. Welcome to PTO
