CARSON CITY - A man who went on a southern Nevada crime spree at age 16 that left two men dead and netted him multiple life sentences in prison won a state Supreme Court order Wednesday for a hearing to determine whether his convictions will stand.
Giles Manley contended that he pleaded guilty in March 2003 to the 2002 crimes because he faced a possible death sentence and an attorney told him that he could withdraw his plea should the execution of juvenile offenders be deemed unconstitutional.
