:fb: :fb: To all of you that have read the post concerning the stupid Programmer who tried to take away my right to mail letters to my Fiancee, well listen to this.

I responded to her with a letter telling her Butch's rights to receive letters could not be stopped unless I had done something illegal. I made a metaphoric remark " IS THAT THE HILL YOU REALLY WANT TO DIE ON".

She took that as a threat to her life, and even thought about moving Butch to another camp, because the guards told her that Butch may jump her. PUH LESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I FEEL BAD THAT i ALMOST GOT BUTCH MOVED. I guess I'd better keep my mouth shut. These people are idiots!!!!!! I copied the letter to the Secretary of Corrections also. Boy was that dumb!!! (Sarcasm)

It seems to me that they want to make you the fall guy for their mess up of telling you to begin with that you couldn't all of a sudden correspond with Butch! Typical of the DOC!!
She knows that she made the mistake in the begining by sending you that letter saying you couldn't write him, now she is trying to cover up her goof, by picking on your metaphor.

I wouldn't keep your mouth shut because you have as much right as anybody else to defend or speak up for Butch when needed. I guess maybe word things a little differently...obviously they are going to take anything you say as something bad whether it be a threat or otherwise. I know you like to give your opinion & speak your mind (GREAT QUALITY, I am learning how to do that myself).

Keep me posted on what the Secretary of Corrections says! Are you going to respond to the programmer thinking what you said was a threat?

i can certainly understand and relate to how and why you would feel the way you do-and it is hard to bite your tongue-but i figure this is what i ask ron to do if they give him alot of flack about something, trying to provoke him- so i guess i have to take my own advice-however wont let someone bulldoze me--anyway, i say
think whatever you want but write only what they can tolerate(which "ain't" much!)

I agree with you Torrey. Since 9/11 there has been zero tolerance in a lot of areas.

Unless you are speaking w/ someone face to face or via phone, what you write may be construde entirely differently than how it was originally meant.

By all means, stand your ground! But you gain more w/ sugar than vinegar. I've learned that lesson the hard way.

Don't let anything you write come back and haunt you! Words in person or on the phone may fade, but those letters have a way of lingering forever.

they are making mountains out of mole hills so be careful.. just remember what I said, I can't believe they actually wrote that down.. just remember they are probably thinking the same thing right now..

yeah, I guess we'll always have to be careful with our choice of words...but this also shows the way this woman thinks or wants to pick up only things she can get you back at...

That sucks but at least they are moving him and you don't have to deal with her anymore. Some people are just so stupid!!

They didn't move him. It was just a threat!!!! Budwoman called her and calmed her down and told her she took the letter the wrong way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That sentence was the only thing she could have taken that way, and believe me if I ment it as a threat I wouldn't have copied it to the Secretary of Corrections.

I realize alot of people try to be politically correct, but I think that is a bunch of bull-crap. Get a LIFE!!!!

i agree with danielle...you can't ever be too careful in what you write down. sad, but true! muffin, i know you have had a lot of problems visiting and mailing things. i feel so bad for you!!! hope you can get them all straightened out soon! *hugs*
