hey everyone. i said i would update when i got back from visiting. unfortunately i dont have much new news. . . things seem to be dysfunction as usual around there.
no one knows if or when they will be getting off lockdown anytime soon on C yard. they are still having issues over there and apparently still transferring more people onto that yard.
makes no kind of sense. . . they are already overcrowded yet they are transferring more people in. :angry:
what our guys need more than anything from the sound of it is alwhole lot of prayers from us. . . the violence needs to stop but it doesnt look like it sgoing to happen anytime soon and the longer they are lockdown the worse it seems to get and the more people that are transferred in. . .well we all know the cycle. so everyone start sending some major prayers for the saftey of our loved ones and that things will calm down so these guys can start to program again because this is a ridiculous amount of time they have been like they are.

Not only C yard, A yard (and what else more) is on lockdown again. My friend even heard from a guard it may last until January!

honestly, i think the general plan is to simply keep them on lockdown all the time over there. . . thats how it looks to me at least. they cant seem to get a handle on the gang problems; and dont seem to understand the concept that the longer you keep people in a cage like this the more problems you will have if you finally do let them out. it seems there could be so many things that wouldnt be that hard to try and quiet things down, but i see many of the decisions that are made amplify the problem instead of negate it.

for C yard, it was said a while ago they would probably be on lockdown until the first of the year. i dont know what they thing will change then tho. all these transferes dont seem to be helping.

haha telepathy. . . watch waht you wish for! my guy and i have that down and i tell you some days are really hard. i can feel when he is going through a really rough time and i get the stress factors that hes feeling right along with him. in some ways its nice to know we are that close; in others it hurts even more to feel for him if that makes sense. . . i cant think of anyone i know who i could try and explain this too and have them understand, yet i know many of my PTO sisters know exactly what i mean.

hang in there girls and keep praying for SOMETHING to change for our boys!

Hey, inalice, I know for sure what you mean...but anyway, that`s how we feel and none of us would say oh no I stop that telepathic now! It`s great!
A yard is off lockdown since yesterday and I had a cool phone call from my bestr friend in the whole world!!!

My son is also on A yard and called me yesterday....He said that they have only been off of lockdown 163 days the whole year.....what a bummer. Prayers and thoughts for everyone. (((((hugs)))))
