The numbers don't lie. Yet the government is lying to us once again, telling us the reoffense rate is HIGH. Maybe they should read their own study.
The reoffense rate is 5.3% to 13% according to the DOJ study, the Washington State study, Canadian study, and a new Kentucky study

Compared with the full population of felony offenders, sex offenders have the lowest recidivism rates for felony offenses (13 percent) and violent felony offenses (6.7 percent) but the highest recidivism rates for felony sex offenses (2.7 percent).
