View Full Version : making wrong choices during your visit
ewoods 11-12-2005, 02:45 AM do you think i should report someone who is sneaking money to their fiance' through a bag of chips?? i know it is a felony. this is more than a one time occurence! i really think i should call the warden - we all dont have to loose are visits.
Ravenslove 11-12-2005, 03:49 AM I think you should mind your own business. If people find out you ratted someone out then your man could suffer the retribution. IMO
ladybluzluver 11-12-2005, 03:59 AM I totally agree with Ravenslove on this one! Don't ever be a snitch ~ coz it can or would cause big problems for your man! That's what the guards are for ~ let them do their job ~ don't worry about it. Somebody else doing something wrong shouldn't affect your visits.
LeBeau 11-12-2005, 08:35 AM Sure, call the Warden and tell him, he'll have the COs do a complete search of every man who had visits around that time, maybe even every cell on the block and the CO's will probably explain that they recieved information that someone had recieved contraband during a visit....then EVERY man who had visits around that time will be suspected by every man on the yard. Sounds like a great way to get someone hurt.
Mind your own.
ewoods 11-12-2005, 09:55 AM i guess it was a stupid idea i just thought if they keep doing it would cause the prison to cancel visiting if the got caught, then everyone suffers so i thought i would stop that from happening!
haswtch 11-12-2005, 09:59 AM no, they might lose THEIR visits, but if somebody getting caught smuggling had this result, nobody in prison would have got a visit since 1903
delibaby 11-12-2005, 12:03 PM I can't see why they would sneak money in because it is virtually useless in prison.
Willsgirl 11-12-2005, 03:57 PM They use the cash to buy the guards and their services.
luckyme1526 11-12-2005, 06:36 PM I think that would be such a bad idea, I agree with everyone else, it will only cause your loved one to get hurt.

a_coleman 11-12-2005, 06:44 PM Remember, sometimes the Warden's are just as dirty as some of the CO's and they might tell who snitched, so I would have to agree with everyone else and stay out of it!
ewoods 11-12-2005, 07:28 PM thanks i got all of your points some of you did not have to be so rude!
Fed-X 11-12-2005, 07:32 PM ewoods,
Doing what you stated at the beginning of this thread is something the vast majority of people feel very strongly about because of some of the things they mentioned. I think they were more cautioning you than being rude.
David
cooper1 11-12-2005, 07:42 PM people should just mind thier own business!
luckyme1526 11-12-2005, 07:56 PM ewoods,
I'm very sorry if you thought thaat we were being rude, it was just a point. Some of us already know how that's like, personally I have never been involved in something like that. But after what I've seen, I know that I would never do that...But once again, I'm really sorry if you thought it was rude, SORRY!
Rebeca
ladybluzluver 11-12-2005, 08:26 PM Well I am not one of the ones that was rude & if you took it that way I apologize because my reply wasn't meant to be .....
Sandy
LeBeau 11-12-2005, 09:19 PM Part of me wants to apologize for the unmistakably sarcastic tone of my reply and part of me wonders if my point would have been as clear had I phrased it more gently.... I will compromise and say this ..
"I'm sorry I found it necessary to be so snippy."
;)
nu2this05 11-12-2005, 09:48 PM See No Evil Say No Evil Speak No Evil In Time It Will Catch Up To Them Its Not Worth Getting You Man In Trouble
88reasons 11-13-2005, 12:25 AM now that all is said and realized, I would like to point out that everyone who has done wrong (in my eyes) I have also witnessed their retribution paid without my ever having to be involved.
I chalk it up to Karma
Blackie 11-13-2005, 04:57 AM I am with everyone else, I think that would be a very bad idea. My suggestion is to act like you don't see what is going on!!!
