I feel like i am not so alone. my on is in Deerfield,, and i have no info on him or the place he is at. i do get letters but i havnt talked or seen him for so long. do you have to fill out the application form before i can visit him? Yes, you do have to fill out a visitor app and get approved before you can visit. He should be able to send one to you and it takes a few weeks to get the approval back. It takes them a week or so to approve your application once you send it back to Deerfield. Don't sent it back to your son! Send it addressed to Deerfield (not your son) and put VISITOR APPLICATION ENCLOSED on the envelope....
