If you have any photographs of the Federal Prison(s) at Hazelton, please post them here. I found some interesting construction project photographs that might be interesting for anyone that has a loved one there or is interested in how prisons are built. If you haven't been an inmate, then you probably have never seen the inside..

Surely you are kidding about posting photos of any federal prison projects!
On a lighter note...someone once wrote about his mother toting a camera to her first visit with him. The guard at the facility kindly asked her to put the camera away when he could have confiscated it!

It happened to my mom - they made her delete all but one of the photos, but they could have confiscated it. It was funny after we got over the shock and trauma of the whole day. :D

Why not? They are in the public domain and available elsewhere if you look hard enough. No "secrets" can be gleened from these. Just information on how these types of institutions are built, which isn't a secret but is interesting, IMHO. :)

They told mom it has something to do with homeland secuirty and the Patriot Act.
