I want to thank everybody on this forum for the loving support I have felt and seen since being here. It seems funny now, but I can't remember what life was like before I "found" this place. There's no other place in the world like PTO, where there are poeple who understand what it's like to have a loved one incarcerated and reach out, expecting nothing in return.

Fed-X thank you for the idea and for seeing it through. You have no idea how in one moment of inspiration, you've touched more lives than you'll ever know.

I love you guys! Thanks for everything.

Monica - Just wanted to add my thanks to what you said. It has been a VERY difficult year for me especially because of the charges that my husband went to prison for. When I first found this site and posted my story, I almost left and never returned. But, I reconsidered and stayed. I am so glad that I did. The support I have found here is amazing. What a great bunch of people!!

also want to thank all the wonderful people on here. you guys have been a great support to me in this early stage of being in love with an inmate and I'm sure you guys will be around in many stages of this relationship! I've learned so much about so many different aspects...what else can I say then thank you from the bottom of my heart, and that I love you all?

I THINK MANY OF US, MYSELF INCLUDED, HAVE FOUND PTO A PLACE OF REFUGE, THAT PLACE YOU WANT TO GO AFTER A HARD DAY TO FIND STRENGTH AND BECOME REJUVENATED TO FACE WHATEVER LIES BEFORE YOU. IT FEELS SO WONDERFUL TO FEEL UNDERSTOOD AND CARED ABOUT, TO FEEL IT'S OKAY TO EXPRESS YOUR FEELINGS, TO ASK FOR HELP, AND TO ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO GIVE THE SAME TO THE OTHERS HERE. WHAT A GREAT RECIPROCAL RELATIONSHIP! NO JUDGEMENTS, NO EXPECTATIONS. JUST A LOT OF GENUINE LOVE AND CONCERN.

I can totally relate to how you feel, i could not think of how life would be with out my pto family.. it has really helped me and blessed me in so many ways.

Many of you have taken it upon yourselves to spread the word, and go well out of your way to help others. We have a great family here. One I know will continue to grow. We're not even 6 months old.. Not bad for being a young community, by all standards..

I would like to extend my thanks as well to all who operate and participate in making this place what it is. My comfort level increases a little each time I visit. Each of you feels so familiar. When I check the new posts & recognize a name I'm always curious about what they have to say.

PTO has grown so much since I joined at the beginning of May and growing stronger! Everyone here is great and I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't found this place. Love you all!
