There have been threads about Dodge in the past, but I just realized Dodge has updated their web site to include copies of rules for A&E inmates (people new to the system undergoing assessment and evaluation). There's a lot of helpful info on visits, mail, and property limits during A&E as well as info for Dodge's general population inmates. I also just realized that I can't visit my friend during A&E because I'm not a relative :(

When he's at Dodge the entire process is A&E. Unless he gets "staffed" to the general population section of Dodge and stays there for awhile, he'll be in A&E until he's moved to the next facility.

Once he's at the next facility then you should be eligible to visit. If he goes to a prison, you'll need to fill out a visitors form and you will need to disclose if you're on probation or not...
If he goes to a county jail temporarily, the visiting depends on that jail, some require visiting lists, some you just show up.

I've been on up to 3 visiting lists with no problem. You have to disclose on the new form what inmates you are already approved to visit. It shouldn't be an issue.
