I was thinking a day to evening thing.....i have a pool ...we could hang poolside....I don't have a grill....so I'm thinking if we wanted to go do dinner someplace.........?!?!?!

OR...we can scratch that and just meet for drinks/dinner someplace........ LOL

So far, I have Arlington and Grapevine interested....I know Lin is South. I'm in Plano.....anyone in Texas that doesn't mind driving is welcome...heck, anyone on PTO who wants to come is (of course) welcome !!!!

Poolside pot luck sounds terrific to me also.

Pot lucks always sound good. A pool sounds even better. I think that I will be out of school by then too. Keep me posted

Ok...it's looking poolside.....and the weekend of 6/21-6/22. My kids are leaving 6/21 for vacation with their dad....so I'm thinking either the afternoon into evening of 6/21, or Sunday 6/22 from as early to as late as you guys wanna stay.

I live in Plano....if peeps don't mind driving....you guys shoot me PMs with contact info, and I will get directions etc out.

I'm definitely interested! I say we meet around 2:00 on 6/21/03 and party into the night. We all could bring a dish, drink, etc. Bring cards, dominoes, etc. and talk, congregate. Sundays are bad for me because of church.

If we decide to grill I will bring the chicken, steaks, what ever else anyone would like. Only thing is, I am a terriable bbqer so someone else will have to do the cooking. :)

alas....I HAVE NO GRILL!!! LOL......Covered dishes/store bought etc....I can pony up for deli trays (meats/cheeses), chips, etc......

you guys let me know what you want to do....anyone who wants directions, please PM me your contact info etc for directions etc...

OMG you picked the ONE weekend I can't get out of :(
I'm taking Tony's son to see him for the 1st time in well over a year that weekend. I will be with you all in thoughts. Have a wonderful time and Maybe I will be at the next one!!!

What is everyone else bringing? What do we need? How many people are we planning for?

Margaritas? Daquiris? Pina Coladas? Volcanos?

I'm doing some deli trays (meats/cheeses)...I will have chips etc.....munchie food....I'm sure we'll need ice, paper plates etc...I have napkins/silverware....if you want beer etc....BYOB...I don't mind glass, but keep it outta my pool!!! LOL :)

I don't have a grill....but anyone is welcome to bring what they'd like.....JER, I will call you later today!

So how did it go?

We had a great time....me, shun (mrsharris), flygirlaa2 (Jana), and Apey (April).....turned out to be "just the girls", but we had a blast and probably could have talked all nite!!

I would love to have another DFW get together soon....
