From February 9th, 1924 to July 30th, 1994 the State of Texas put the electric chair to use: 361 times. Executions were carried out by the individual Counties prior to 1924, those records are difficult to obtain.

these #'s are very alarming and just goes to show you that texas never has had a problem killing people but if you kill someone here it is so different. I think it is a sad day to know they just do it would out concience or remose.
