NEW YORK (May 29) -- Mike Tyson said he's so angry about his rape conviction 11 years ago that he wants to rape his accuser and her mother now. In a television interview scheduled for broadcast Thursday night, the former heavyweight boxing champion repeated his claim that he was innocent of raping beauty pageant contestant Desiree Washington in 1991 in an Indianapolis hotel room.

"I just hate her guts,'' he said. "... She put me in that state, where I don't know. I really wish I did now. But now I really do want to rape her and her... mama.''

Tyson, 36, was convicted in 1992 and was sentenced to six years in prison. He served three years before being released on parole.

He made the comments during an interview in Miami Beach, Fla., with Fox news anchor Greta Van Susteren, who was reviewing the trial.

A call for comment to Tyson's adviser, Shelly Finkel, was not immediately returned.

The interview will be shown on 'The Pulse' at 9PM ET on the Fox network.

Neither Washington nor her parents returned calls seeking comment, the New York Daily News said.

From what I read on PTO, other members' loved ones in the same situation, got a MUCH longer sentence !!! :mad:

Phil, unless I am wrong, I think he received a sentence reduction or got out early with Barry Schick as his one of his defense laywers. Does anyone else recall if he got out on a deal or was it just regular parole?

they made him get help instead. suspended three years to box agin, i think it was 3 years.

What makes me sick is....if you are poor and noboby, they sentence you to the max...but if you have a lil money you get off scott free....if my baby had a hit song, or hit tv movie, or was some famous athelet....he would be home with me now....Now tell me....isn't justice suppose to be blind?....I think it is.....blind, deaf and dumb!!!!!!

I agree that he should have gotten more charges for saying he wanted to rape her and her mother. What other convicted rapist could go on national TV and make that kind of threat and not get locked up again? They'd find some way to whack them for that. Tyson is not an intelligent man. I think he'll end up killing someone or being killed at the end of it all. My late husband would have called him Neanderthal. LOL

How could any women go and pay and watch this man fight, for that matter any man ~ especially after these comments.

Here is a worse crime in my eyes . WE PAY him and others to entertain us when out childrens teachers strike. WE PAY for our "heros" to commit crimes and get away with them when the people we entrust our small children with are paid minimum wages.

seems like it could be considered a terrorist threat, huh? i personally saw and heard somone say "i'll be back to kill you bitches". that person went to jail for 6 months. some people with money and influence obviously get away with more than others.
