I Am In Love With A Man Who Is Serving Time AT MHCX And Though I Recently Just Hooked Up With HIM On A Romantic Level I Have Known Him All Of My Life. My Question IS Since I Am New To All Of This, What Does Lockdown Mean? Can He Call? I Know Visits Are Out For Now But Could He Possibly Call Me?

It's been my experience @ the Annex (my guy is there) that after a few days they may let them call for a few minutes. Usually they can't get to the commissary either so if they don't have stamps, they can't write. My guy said they were going on lock down for a few days to move out more to the new SuperMax in Cumberland. Don't know if that's correct or not if something violent happened to put them on lock down, however. I have a block on my phone right now since it's so darn expensive, so I won't be talking to him for awhile anyway. I just hope he's not on the list to move!!! Btw, do you know when they went on lockdown?

Well, it's over for now! My baby called me this morning and I was so happy. He had told me that they were moving people and it was going to happen after the muslim holiday and sure enough it did. I was so relieved he was not moved. Thanks for posting back

btw, they were locked down on Monday and off by Tuesday and boy was I glad that he was still there and not shipped off to Cumberland.

My man is also at the House and I think that it depends on what Tier they are on. He goes on lockdown during certain times (like when there was movement for the transfers). Do you know where he sleep?

My guy is still there too, thankfully! Just wish I had the money to get the block of my frickin' phone!
