My brother told me a friend of his had a visit from two elderly ladies who flew across the country to see him. When they left after the evening visit, their rental car would not start. The people there would not let them use the phone to call for help, a CO who was leaving after his shift was going to try and jump start the car, one of the bosses came out and said do not help them. this is not our problem. You have to understand hazelton is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, cell phones don't work. I don't know how these ladies finally got out. My brothers friend was pretty upset. He said what did they think was going to happen if they helped, did they think this old ladies had A-K 47s in the trunk of the car. Just another story of how inmates families and friends can be treated. :angry:

A incident such as this should be reported to the local paper ... what happened to human decency/curtesy to an elder!!
