Just wondering... does anyone here bet on sports?? (I bet on football, usually every weekend, but I never win LOL.) Just curious... maybe we can compare/discuss our picks or something. :D

I participate in an office pool for football with my coworkers in my department. So far we haven't won yet ... here's hoping for next week !!

I play one of those football pool things. There's lists of teams and you pick who you think will win and by how many points. I never win but its fun to play. I pick the teams by the cities I like best. No wonder I always lose, I always pick the Eagles !! Then I pick New York Giants cause I love NY, Seattle cause I loved it when I visited, Pittsburgh cause its in PA., Penn State, love them, etc. Crazy logic but who knows maybe someday I win!

LOL I actually won this weekend for the first time ever!!!! (I play on www.bodog.com (http://www.bodog.com)). I bet a 4-team parlay (meaning all 4 teams had to win in order for me to win the money), and they did!!! I bet $5 to win like $60!!! Woohoooo!!! :D :thumbsup:

Congratulations!!! :D Good to hear a girl win !! I get my football pool at work which is a hospital. Everybody bets in my unit, the boss, even the patients which really cracks me up!! Its alot of fun ... one of the patients won $50 last week!!!

Nooooooooooo! I cannot bet or gamble or anything, I'm way too afraid of losing money. When my mom took me to Reno this summer I ended up spending like $40 dollars gambling total and won like $12 on a penny slot machine.

Plus I have bad luck, I would bet and lose, everytime, no matter what.

I'm glad you won though, I'm even MORE glad that you bet AGAINST the Raiders!
