Is there anyone interested in trying to have a NY PTO get together of some sort? Rosepetal asked about in under PTO get togethers, etc and has not gotten any response, so I thought I would pose the question again here and see if there is any response. If there is an interest I am sure we can collectively agree and do something!

Shari, you're a hoot. I'd be up for a NY PTO get-together. I responded to Fed-X's poll about where to hold the next PTO get-together but wasn't sure what the boundaries were for "North-Central" and "East Coast". I imagine I'm pretty central to both. Like Shari said, details people details .... LOL. I'll do my best to attend whereever it is.

As much as I wanna say NYC :D, Albany's cool. I think that's a pretty neutral ground for most of us NY'ers. Whether you're coming from my way or your way. Right?

Mimi...why not try for and overnite or maybe a weekend?? and we can maybe have some workshops and maybe just have some relaxation things and maybe even just have a general swapping of ideas.........I know we can all enjoy a little time away to just be ourselves........it's a thought...

Okay, well I have some work to do!!! There is a Parole Workshop being schedule in Albany on July 13th from 3PM to PM, I am getting the details. I am reading that you all would like more than that, so let me make some phone calls this coming week and I will get back to you all!!!

$229 at Priceline from Houston Int. to New York City - La Guardia (LGA). I typed in ($200.00 for amount)
Funny thing is when I type in $400 it gives me a $429.00 flight in the same class.. Maybe I should try $100.00 Maybe they'll give me a Valu-Jet seat..

Don't forget to rent the car as NYC is about 150 miles south of Albany. Flying into Albany is probably way more expensive. The Parole Workshop was already given in NYC on June 10th. There is also a Retreat that was put together by founder of PFNY next weekend in Saratoga area. I was invited but can't go, there may be spaces available still, but for some reason I want to say that it was designed and planned for women with a loved one in prison. They will be doing Drum Circles and more!

Anyone interested in the Preparation for Parole Board Workshop on July 13th, in Albany, from 3PM to 5PM with a potluck dinner to follow, please PM me and I will tell you how to get specifics.

if all of you women are serious we can have a weekend in ny city. i can get us a great group rate at a hotel for a friday and saturday night stay...

we can have long meeting and talk about everything while having lunch and then all go out on a saturday night in the city...

What's the update with an NYC meeting? There is a CPR parole workshop scheduled for August 27th in Brooklyn by the way if anyone's interested.

albany is the highest priced city to fly into. try newburgh or even stewart airport!!
