I sent a letter to my friend on Sept, 29 didnt get one back until Oct, 24. I figured it was so slow because they had just moved him and they had to forward it. Sent another letter on Oct, 25th, still waiting! He hasnt heard from me in 10 years and seemed very excited in his first letter to me. I dont know if it is the mail, prison or what...... Is anyone else having this problem with the mail?

Yes, it does irritate me a lot. My husband was sent to San Quentin around Aug. & he sent a letter expressing himself & how I haven't written. But I have. Its snail mail. I hate it! Im also trying to locate a family member since Sept & still haven't heard anything. It can take a while before the mail is given to them.

they are pretty sloppy in the mail room, if you ask me, and what with the holiday, it's just gonna get worse.

I also think that the mail room sucks! It takes my guy about three weeks to get my mail, and it could take me anywhere from 2 days to a week to get mail from him, and sometimes he gets the new mail first and the old mail days later...Geez!

Three days ago I got a letter dated October 17th; a week before that I got a letter dated October 18th. !! I just talked to L by phone, and I'm told there's about a dozen letters I haven't received yet, starting around Oct. 20th. :\ This is CCWF.

OMG yes it IS taking forever. Kris just got 5 letters I sent on 10-05-05 and he got it 11/01/05

oh yes mailroom too slow.THere exuse is they dont have enough people working in the mailroom so my bf just recieve mail from oct 5th.Were just gonna have to wait.I know it sucks:cool:

For San Quentin, the guy to direct complaints to is Lt. Cramer...if enough letters land on his desk NOW, there's a chance that the guys may see your Christmas cards before Valentines Day.

I sent two letters out on Saturday the th of nov and he recieved them on mon and tues the 14 and 15. thats how the mails been since hes been in camp also it only takes two days for me to get mine.

Yeah, now that we have everything settled, I have been getting his letters within about 3 days and he gets mine in about the same time.

I havent gotten mail in 13days from my man, what is the problem with the mail rooms, My man is at Jamestown SCC

yeah it has been almost 2 weeks my husband has sent me a total of 10 lettersi have only recieved 2 out of the 10 and he still sending new ones but these ones are the ones i have been waiting for, he gets my letter if i send them out today he will get it the following day i don't under stand it
