Has anyone else had trouble getting mail from Terre Haute FCI. My guy says he's been writting me but I havn't gotten any mail from him since August.... and when he says he'll write he does. His mother and grandparents have not recieved anything from him either. I've called they say nothing on there end and he hasn't gotten anything back.... I'm kind of worried.... ant input?

Has he asked his counselor, or someone in the mail room?

They say theres nothing wrong on their end if there was he would have gotten it back.

Yes... they say that it may be from all the weather commotion, nothing definite...

I almost feel bad to say this but, I have not had any problems recieving or Jay recieving mail. He's in the FCI. Is that where your guy is?

yeah thats where he is also. No need to feel bad. Every one he's sent mail to hasn't gotten it so that make me feel a littl better. His mom didn't even get his b-day card.

I wonder why there are problems with his mail.
Has he tried to ask the warden?

He said he will talk with him next Monday about it.... why he's waiting so long I don't know.

The only comfort is that you are still able to talk to him over the phone.

Jay and I don't write too much anymore.
I visit once a week and he calls 3-4 times a week.
Doesn't leave him with too much to say in a letter.

And that is very true... but his letters are so sweet and he's not like that on the phone or in visits... hate to say it but his head is somewhere else then... and then I fuss too much. (LOL). But I haven't gotten to visit him @ FCI yet, he doesn't get visit's back until Jan. !st it's been a year since he's had visits and a year since I've seen him. He calls like once a week if he has the money (when I send it... ) But in Dec. I'm moving to Terre Haute so I will be able to see him once or twice a week.
