I just got off the phone with my husband and now I'm doing much better. He is actually doing really well. He sounded much better then I expected. He said he was depressed in the first few days, but has excepted the fact that this is what has to be. He kept saying that it really wasnt all that bad. From the sounds of it its very differant from the CCA that is here in Idaho. He said "honey this is a real joint":D

I dont know when I will hear from him again since he has to wait until he gets money on his phone account, but I can rest a bit now knowing he is ok.


One of the things that told me his spirits are up is he said "honey I am growing my gotee". :D He knows I loved it when he had it before, but here in Idaho you can only have a mustache

Tanya~ I am glad that you finally heard from him. That had to be one of the hardest parts of this all. He seems to be making the best outta it.

Are you kidding me!!! I cried like a baby when he called. When I first saw the caller ID I was smilign from ear to ear. By the time that silly operator gone done telling me this is a call from..... I was getting impatient and as soon as he spoke I could feel my voice crackling. Then BANG it was on.....He was so assuring and reminded me over and over how strong our love is and what we have come through so far. After the initial cry was over I was fine. I didnt hang up in tears

I have a hard time remembering what states do and dont have family visits, but I am almost 100% certain MN isnt one of them. Actually that a good thing. I have checked on what it would cost to visit and its more money then I can save up. By the time I would have enough saved he would be home. It would make me sick to my stomach if MN allowed a family visit, but I couldnt afford it.

After doing some thinking about it I decided that the cost of going through CBS is only .05 more then him getting calling cards. I was going to send him money to get some calling cards, but decided that be the time he got the money and could order anything it would be three weeks until he called again. Honestly I didnt want to wait.

In the letter I sent out yesterday I told him to try and call when he got the letter as the account should have money posted to it by the time his letter arrived. I put the money on the account late last night and out of the blue he called again today. It was a pleasant suprise. I knew he didnt get the letter si I asked him what made him try to call. And like any wonderful husband he told me he loved and missed me so much he just had to give it a try. He will be calling the kids tonight since they werent here when he called. I wont get to talk to him during that phone call other then answer the phone and say a quick "I love you" and pass it along. Twenty minutes doesnt divide up between 4 very well, but even though I wont get to say anything more then a quick I love you I am a happy girl.
