Has anyone ever heard of this. Sonny, my husband, has been on Interferon since Dec 11. About 2 months ago they missed a day and they said he had to start all over again and they put him on new Interferon. It was making him sicker then before but he is very stubborn and refused to quit. He's gone from 215 to 173 in this short of time. He was always sick. Well, 2 weeks ago his his cellie came in and thought Sonny was dead!! He was barely breathing. They took him by ambulance to the hospital where he stayed for three days on IV's. They said the Interferon was poisoning him and if he had taken his next shot, it would have been his last!! His blood was black and so thick that they had to pump it out of him for testing. They said they were going to keep him off any meds until his blood levels evened out. He got news the other day that the Hep is dormant! The Dr. sayed he's only seen it happen like this 3 other times!! So now they are only going to test him every 3 months and make sure it stays dormant!! Sonny looks and feels so much better!! He says he sleeps like a baby and wakes up feeling great!! He feels like a million bucks! And looks great too! He's not green anymore! Has anyone ever heard of this? I'm so happy but I don't want to be premature with my optimism.
