Hope this is the correct forum,

The other day I say this neat pocketbook made from what looked like shiny canvas or heavy duty paper, with family pictures on it. The person, who owned the pocketbook, gave me the name of the lady who made it... but being who I am... I would like to make one myself. Have any of you seen something like I have described? Have any of you made something like I have described? OR Do any of you know how you would go about transferring the photos on to canvas ... This was not the traditional iron on transfer paper ... this looked and felt similar to photographs.

I just saw these products at Office Depost last night. They had glass and mat finishes.

There is a liquid emulsion called liquid light. It is a true photographic process that can be painted onto any surface. It has the same consistency as elmers glue. I wouldn't suggest it only because you would need all the developing chemicals and some form of darkroom, plus it is very touchy, so getting the hang of it takes awhile. I would go with the easiest and cheapest, computer printed iron on transfers. You really can't go wrong with them. They're fast and it's hard to mess them up.

Liquid light sounds like a challange and kind of fun to mess around with. Can I buy it at a photography supply store or high end camera store?
