Does anyone know what the inmates are allowed to have while waiting in Madison County Jail for court? I know they can receive stamps but I am not sure about anything else. My "friend" that is up there says they can no longer receive clothing (they hafto order it) and as far as money he is thinking I have to take it directly up there (can't mail it?) now he is asking me to send him some envelopes with my letter to him? Does any one know? Please help!!!

you take it to the sherrifs dept on the 2nd floor in the courthouse, you tell them who you are and they take your money and put it on his books. you can only put so much on there, i forget but its not much at all

As of now you can not send in anything but a money order. It has tohave inmates name and id number on it. Needs to be there early for store on Tue and Fri night. You can't take or mail in anything any more. even the money orders are handle by an outside company. If you need the name and address I can get it for you.
