My friend is in Jamestown and it's the third prison he's been to in the last 2 1/2 he's been in. He's on his way to Tehachapi very soon and i was just interested if anyone has any info at all they can give me. I would really appriciate it. He doesn't tell me too much, i practically have to threaten him! Also he's in Ad-Seg right now and he will be going into the Hole for a while in Tehachapi. If someone could explain the two to me and what they're all about I would be so thankful!!! Thanx again~Lilly:o

My husband use to be Tehachapi that place is not cool at all the C/O's are real petty getting through for visiting is a piece of cake the only thing when they are behind the class you have to call and make an appointment for an hour, but I thought they made Tehachapi a reception center.

Well that's not too good of news that it isnt a good place to be but i was already expecting that. At least the visitations are easy to get, but what do you mean by reception center? Thanx again!!! Lilly

What I mean about reception center is it only hold's the inmate for 45 to 90 day's until they are placed to another prison but I know there are a couple of other yards on ground for lifer's and level 1and 2. But it's cool if he doesn't have a long time there it does snow up there and it do get real foggy they go through all the season's in one day so be careful when you visit.

Oh ok thank you for clearing that up for me. Yeah he's gonna be there for a while, last he told me he has to do 15mo in the hole so we're in this thing for a bit. and thanx for the caution on the weather too! Lilly
