I read about the visits , and I am happy for those that have that privledge, you dont know how much I wish I was able to go see my baby.
Until the r.o. is lifted all I can do is wonder how he looks, remember his gorgeous smile and dream of his touch.
God bless all of you. Donna

I am so sorry you can't have visits... I try to remember and be grateful every day.

Will you ever be able to see him?

what hurts me alot is the fact that Steve doesn't know anything about me or our daughter, he and I seen eachother for the last time when he entered his plea that was 2 Augusts ago, he is in avenal, there is a r.o. and i moved 3 hrs up north from fresno to concord cali, and i don't have anything to do with his family cause they blame me cause it was a d.v. issue, but i do talk to his sis-in-law, she says that he said he was told he can;t have any contact with me even when he gets out, he doesn't know i still love him and i don't know how he feels about me, i have contacted the fresno d/a/ but havent gotten a reply regarding lifting the r.o. after all they put it on him not me, i miss steve soooo damn much but i will not give up that we will reconcile. he thrills me to my soul i love that man he is it for me. donnastilluvinsteve...

Getting rid of the restraining order may not solve the problem. They CAN make staying away from you a condition of his parole when he gets out. Just because they can. You can also try reaching the judge who signed the order, he can lift it.
Explain that after two years you believe he needs to have a relationship with his daughter and you believe that the two of you can behave. Explain that he is still incarcerated and you just want to get permission to take his daughter to visit. Then be prepared to have trouble with the prison becasue you were the victim. IT CAN be done, don't give up hope, but you probably have a long road ahead still.
